Today our outreach group met and handed out flyers at various locations for a special event we're having tomorrow! It's Round Up Sunday! Yehaw! The fair has been in town for the past couple of days, and as you might have guessed... there's a rodeo! It seemed fitting to have a round up Sunday morning following all the town's festivities.
Keeping with the theme, we're encouraging people to wear their western wear and ride their horses to church... not sure if they worked out the details on that one, though. I didn't see a hitching post set up yet! lol! but... it will be a fun time to be had by all!
We've got a special guest for the service, a skit by one of the Sunday school classes, a singing, dinner on the grounds (BBQ plates--- yum!), activities for the kids to include a bounce house and slide, and we will be handing out cowboy hats to all the kiddies! I'm looking forward to an awesome day with a powerful movement of God positively impacting those in our community and church!
